You can edit and change your email address by going to profile page in the SuperTeacher app. You will find the profile on the top right corner by clicking the menu.
License Code
A license code is required to continue using the app after the free trial period. If you are a teacher from a school using the XSEED program, please approach your XSEED Leader for your license code.
License codes can’t be used by more than one teacher. Please check with your XSEED Leader for a valid license code.
If you still get an error, please click here to raise a request or write to us at contact@xseededucation.com.
Currently the license code is only provided to teachers of XSEED partner schools.
However, we will soon be opening the app for parents and tutors, who can purchase a license code independently as well.
Please write to us at contact@xseededucation.com from your official email address, with the mobile and license code of the teacher you want us to disable. We can help you disable it.
Grade / Subject Access
“XSEED currently provides access for 3 early childhood grades and Grades 1-8. Grades 9 and higher are not available.
The subjects available in all countries are English, Mathematics, and Science. Environmental Science and Social Science are available only in India. Hindi will be made available soon in India as well.”
You can have access to a maximum of 6 grade/subject combinations at a given time. You can change this at your convenience to get access to any grade/subject you need to view.
By default you get only access to a maximum of 6 grade/subject combinations. If you need more, please click here or write to us at contact@xseededucation.com.
Our Early Childhood program is integrated and thematic, with Day Plans that include all subjects. Therefore it is treated as a single, separate subject. Please choose the subject “Early Childhood” to access to all Lesson Plans for pre-primary grades (e.g., Nursery, Lower/Junior Kindergarten, and (Upper) Kindergarten).
“In your profile page, first select the subject, and then choose all the grades you want access to. Teachers can choose a maximum of 6 subject / grade combinations at a time. You can always edit your subject / grade combinations at any time in your profile.
Please note, for pre-primary grades, you only need to select the grade level under the “”Early Childhood”” subject to get access to ALL subjects for that grade.”
Lesson Plan
In the Assessment section of the Lesson Plan, you will find a button that says Check Worksheet. Click it to show the worksheet filled with model answers.
Please put your phone on “Do Not Disturb” mode while conducting your class. This will prevent any unwanted notification, messages showing up in the screen during the screen-sharing or casting.
Note: Please don’t put the phone on “Airplane mode” — this will turn off mobile data and prevent you from using the app.
A lesson plan can be swiped to mark as complete only once in a year. We suggest you complete the class for all your sections before swiping to mark it completed.
Please update the app to the latest version. If the issue persists, please click here or write to us at contact@xseededucation.com.
The Block Assessment Report is not available in the App but can be found in the student workbook. You may check the daily assessment rubrics in the lesson plans, which contain the same details for each learning outcome of a Block.
The lesson plans are released based on pre-defined dates, which are mapped to your school’s academic calendar. Please check with your school’s XSEED Leader for more information.
The Practice Questions can be found after the Content Book pages. Simply flip to the final page(s) of the Content Book file to see them. The answer guide is still accessible by clicking on the Show Answer button.
Worksheets have a number at the top left that indicates the Block and lesson number, for instance Worksheet 10.3 is for Block 10, lesson 3. The Content Book is also clearly divided into Blocks, with 1-2 pages for each lesson. For example, you may instruct students to turn to or read “Block 10, Lesson 3”.
The video versions of English and Early Childhood texts are often done using animated characters, different style of artwork, or other visuals to assist in comprehension and make them more engaging. You may explain this to students and ask questions about the differences in visuals they have noticed, but the most important thing is that you focus on the comprehension of the text (which the children should both read and listen to).
Definitions appear for key words only in the XSEED One version of SuperTeacher, currently available for Grades Nursery-G6. Grades 7-8 of XSEED One will be released in the next academic year. Other variants of SuperTeacher have keywords only, without definitions. Check with your school adminstrator to find out which variant of SuperTeacher you have.
My Notes
The notes added in a particular step (Action, Analysis, or Application) will be available at the bottom of that step. Scroll down in the teacher’s view to find your saved notes.
No, you add only one note in a section. However, you can make that note as long as you’d like and also add bullet points for organization. You can also edit the note repeatedly to keep adding points later.
Our academic team tries to answer questions as quickly as possible. You can expect a reply within 3 working days.
Conducting Class
Tap on your mobile screen in the sutdent’s view and click on the “Cancel” option to go back to the teacher’s view. We recommend that you stop screen-sharing/casting BEFORE moving back to the teacher’s view.
How can I conduct pair or group work activities in an online class where students are all at home?
We recommend using breakout rooms, which are available in most major videoconferencing platforms. For some activities that require students to work together on the same physical resources, you could ensure at least one student per group has the resources. You can also choose to do a demo or show a video instead.
Instruct students to write the questions and answers in their notebooks or on a separate sheet of paper.
We recommend turning OFF screen sharing during the student discussions so you can see students’ faces as they are responding, and students can see each other. Don’t forget to turn screen sharing on again for explanations!
Making separate slides is not recommended. When teachers want to direct students attention to a certain question or content, we recommend using annotate feature of the video conferencing platform. This leads to higher student engagement and also saves time and effort for the teacher.
There is no harm in students seeing these instructions, and it helps them know what to expect from the teacher. We recommend teachers say things like, “OK, now let’s summarize your responses!” before actually summarizing, to help students learn this important academic vocabulary.
“In the teacher’s view, you will find the play controls at the bottom of the screen when the voiceover audio is playing. You can click on the pause button to pause temporarily, or click the close ‘X’ link to stop the audio playback completely.
In the student’s view, tap on your mobile screen to find the play controls to pause or stop the audio playback.”
Web Version
Yes, all notes entered in any version after logging in will be synced to the app and appear on any device used to open it.
The Web version of XSEED SuperTeacher can be shared directly over all major videoconferencing platforms. A web browser such as Chrome or Safari is the only software needed.
You can adjust the zoom of your browser to find the optimal size for your system/settings. In Google Chrome, this can be found by clicking on the 3 dots at the top right of the browser window.
Yes! In fact, for a given lesson it can be useful to have the Teacher’s View open on your mobile device and Students’ View open on your computer simultaneously. This way you can see the Teacher Tips and scroll through the lesson quickly while students see just a single instruction, question, video, or explanation!
