What version of Word helps the teachers to download the question papers?

Any version of MSWord will allow teachers to download the .doc versions of question papers. However, it is recommended to use MSWord 2016 and above.

Can the management of a school control when the teachers can access XSEED TestMaker, if they wish their teachers to be able to access it only just before the exams?

No, this is currently not controllable. Please note Testmaker can be used for shorter tests as well, like Unit Tests, and not just final exams.

You can download the test paper in PDF and word format only, school can edit word format however while editing kindly ensure the mark correction and other formatting

Some students missed taking a test. Can I create a new test for them on the same syllabus which will have different questions?

If you want to retest any of your students on the same Blocks, you can make a completely new question paper without repeating any questions.* If you do not want the questions in a particular test to be reused in a new test, then just remember to mark that particular test as “Used for assessment”. For any combination of options that I choose to create a question paper, I’m getting the error message “Sorry, we did not find any Test matching the specified search criteria”.

This error indicates that the set of parameters chosen are not allowing a test to be generated. Try using different parameters for difficulty level, type of test, time of test, and the blocks chosen. If no combination works, then check if you have created several test papers from the same blocks and marked them as "used".
