The exhaustive list of frequently asked questions and answers related to the XSEED Learnometer Test.
Registration and Sign Up
Please go to register.xseededucation.com to register your child. Registration is a quick and easy process, which is explained in a step-by-step manner in this video.
Please use the Universal User Code (UN7T9W2) to register. This is a common code for all. Please collect the access key for Universal from the school. The access key is unique for each student.
You need not provide the User Code to the parent because the User Code is already given in the registration weblink. Parents need to click on the small key ‘Click for XSEED User Code’ to know the User Code.
Please give another unused access key to the parent from the list of access keys sent to the school. Or, call the XSEED Customer Care at 1800 102 7200.
Yes, you can use only your mobile number. After entering your mobile number, you will receive an OTP in your mobile number to complete the registration.
No, you need not register again. This is a one-time registration and the XSEED ID can be used for all future Learnometer tests.
Please inform the school immediately. The school (XSEED Coordinator/School Admin) can correct the grade and section of the student in the admin login of Universal or Learnometer.
You should inform the school immediately. The school will find your child’s details from the admin login of Universal or Learnometer and remove the extra registration.
The User Code is already given in the registration weblink. Please click on the key ‘Click for XSEED User Code’. The User Code will appear on screen. Enter it in the blank row.
Yes, it is the same as both will give you the XSEED ID for your child. We suggest you register using the Universal User Code. It will help you stay connected on Universal with the school and get faster and useful information about your child from the school.
The school will receive an email with the list of Learnometer access keys. These access keys are to be shared with every parent or student – 1 access key for 1 student.
The school may register for the parents, but the school must also enter one contact detail to validate each parent (mobile or email). The school will therefore need to be in touch with the parent to get the OTP. Schools may create official school mail ids for each student and register using those – however, the parents will need access to these email ids to access Universal later.
Schools can get the full list of registered students using their school admin login, from either of these two locations: 1) The School Settings section of the Management Zone in XSEED Universal, or 2) from the admin login on Learnometer. For more help, you can call up the XSEED Customer Care at 1800-102-7200.

Setting-Up the Test Schedule
You can set-up the Learnometer test schedule on the school admin of Universal at universal.xseededucation.com or on the Learnometer admin login at learnometer.xseededucation.com. Please watch this video to guide you
The Learnometer test will be open for all XSEED schools from 1 – 28 November in India and from February in the Phillipines.
It will be better if you can start the test from the morning so that more batches of students can give the test on the same day. Also if there is a power cut, students can continue the test on the same day when the power resumes.
It would be better to have the higher grades take the test first. Higher grade students are likely to be more familiar with technology/computers. That would give you some time to understand the test process, when G1 and G2 take the test and you will be able to guide them better.
You can download the full list of registered students of every grade of your school from the School Settings section in the Management Zone in XSEED Universal. This list also identifies, as of date, the students who are yet to take the test, as well as those who have successfully taken the test.
Taking the Learnometer Test
A student needs an XSEED ID, a Learnometer access key and a computer with Internet to take the test.
No, parents just register for an XSEED ID on XSEED Universal. Learnometer is conducted at learnometer.xseededucation.com.
There are a total of 32 questions for G1- G4 and 38 questions for G5 – G8. They include English, Math, and Science.
Read aloud all the questions to the students of G1-G3. And get them to take the ‘Practice Test’ before the actual test. This will help them get some practice to answer questions for Learnometer.
You can complete the registration for the student in the school just before the test. However, you have to connect with the parent for their mobile number and the OTP to complete the registration. Alternatively, you can create an email ID for the student and complete the registration using the OTP received on that email.
Yes, it is compulsory to take the practice test, which is just a set of very simple questions, to help students get familiar with the test before taking the actual test.
Yes, all absent students can take the test on the day they are present so long it is within the end date of the test (i.e., 28th November in India). They will only have to enter their XSEED ID and Learnometer access key to take the test.
Try using the same access key again and ensure that there is no space before or after. Also check upper case/lower case when entering the access key. If it still does not work, use a new and unused Learnometer access key from the list of additional access keys that was sent to your school.
You do not have to take the test from the beginning! Just login to learnometer.xseededucation.com again and you will be allowed to complete the test from where you stopped.
Please check your Internet Connection. If it is slow, it may take some time to download the visuals.
No. The Practice Test is a short tutorial designed to be taken immediately before the Learnometer Test, which guides students how to answer the actual Learnometer Test questions. The Practice Test is part of the instructions for the official test and cannot be done independently of it.
While options within each question and question order may be randomized, the same questions are used for all students to ensure fairness.
No. The test timer starts only after the Practice Test is completed. An additional 2-5 minutes should be set aside for instructions and the Practice Test.
