How do I get access to more than one grade for a subject?

"In your profile page, first select the subject, and then choose all the grades you want access to. Teachers can choose a maximum of 6 subject / grade combinations at a time. You can always edit your subject / grade combinations at any time in your profile. Please note, for pre-primary grades, you only need to select the grade level under the ""Early Childhood"" subject to get access to ALL subjects for that grade."

Some instructions with higher level vocabulary (e.g., “Summarize responses.”) appear in the Students’ View. Is it ok for students to view these? What should I do if students cannot understand them?

There is no harm in students seeing these instructions, and it helps them know what to expect from the teacher. We recommend teachers say things like, "OK, now let's summarize your responses!" before actually summarizing, to help students learn this important academic vocabulary.

Should I make separate slides to direct student attention to just one question/instruction instead of using SuperTeacher app, where multiple questions or instructions may appear on the same slide?

Making separate slides is not recommended. When teachers want to direct students attention to a certain question or content, we recommend using annotate feature of the video conferencing platform. This leads to higher student engagement and also saves time and effort for the teacher.

Should I keep the screen shared all the time during the class?

We recommend turning OFF screen sharing during the student discussions so you can see students' faces as they are responding, and students can see each other. Don't forget to turn screen sharing on again for explanations!

Is there a management dashboard to view teacher progress in XSEED SuperTeacher?

Currently there is no dashboard available. However, watch out for our app updates; we will be releasing new features regularly.

Why does it show “Lesson Plan not yet available” for certain lessons?

The lesson plans are released based on pre-defined dates, which are mapped to your school's academic calendar. Please check with your school's XSEED Leader for more information.

Where can a I find the Block Assessment Report?

The Block Assessment Report is not available in the App but can be found in the student workbook. You may check the daily assessment rubrics in the lesson plans, which contain the same details for each learning outcome of a Block.

I cannot find early childhood grades (e.g., Nursery, Lower/Upper Kindergarten) in the grade list under any subject.

Our Early Childhood program is integrated and thematic, with Day Plans that include all subjects. Therefore it is treated as a single, separate subject. Please choose the subject "Early Childhood" to access to all Lesson Plans for pre-primary grades (e.g., Nursery, Lower/Junior Kindergarten, and (Upper) Kindergarten).

Some text in the lesson plan is garbled or appears as code.

Please update the app to the latest version. If the issue persists, please click here or write to us at contact@xseededucation.com.

What can I do if students in my online class don’t have their workbooks?

Instruct students to write the questions and answers in their notebooks or on a separate sheet of paper.
